Founded in 2001 by a group of concerned caregivers, Caregivers Alberta is a non-profit agency providing resources, mental health support, and education for people caring for family members or friends through illness, disability, or aging-related issues. Caregivers are heroes, not victims. Yet even heroes need a hand sometimes. At Caregivers Alberta, our role is to champion and empower them to do what they do best.
As Alberta’s only dedicated caregiver organization, Caregivers Alberta offers wide-ranging services, from our caregiver support line, to one-on-one coaching and peer support groups to our award-winning caregiver education program COMPASS. We serve caregivers and healthcare professionals all across Alberta.
